Alleged Palmetto

I know nothing about swords.

Allegedly this is a Palmetto Armoury but the hilt looks different than anything I have seen before. Almost has a French look to it.

The CS(star) stamp always makes me think fake but I figured I might as well expland my knowledge by checking with you guys.

Blade is not sharpened which also leads me to believe repop.

Another Fake piece and not even a good one at that. If I might offer a piece of advice, If the dealer tried to sell that "Walker" as original and trying pass off this sword, I would not trust anything he may have, Just sayin

Hes got a lot of good stuff.... Some lemons too. But there are lots of neat finds. Just gotta dig for them.

A total FAKE. I'm fortunate to have a few of the Glaze Palmetto Armory swords {Cav. and Arty.}, and this is nothing ever made in the 1800's in Columbia, SC.
I'm sorry but everything you've posted from this source has been in average condition, overpriced, or fake. I fear you will be very unhappy if it comes time to sell any of it.
