David Shettles-4th Mississippi Infantry, 2nd Mississippi cavalry Abner-bradfords company Mississippi artillery, 2nd battalion Mississippi cavalry J. Quinton-1st battalion Alabama Artillery Louis Bradshaw-27th Tennessee infantry

Some ancestors I forgot to mention: Joseph Rufus Shuttlesworth-11th Alabama Samuel Shuttlesworth-1st battalion Alabama Artillery Joseph W. Shuttlesworth-2nd regiment Mississippi Infantry George Washington Shuttlesworth-2nd regiment Mississippi Infantry.

Could this be your John Shettle? Or was your guy from Alabama or Mississippi?

Shettle, John
- Enlisted in Co B, 63rd Virginia Infantry on April 5, 1862 at Abbington, VA. ?

He is the only John Shettle or Shettles showing up when I search.

There's a John Shuttles Co A, 13th Georgia Infantry, transferred to the Navy.
