ABT Saves Parcels at 4 Battlefields

These people do great work. I am proud to be a member.
I am, as well. Speaking as somebody with an inordinate interest in the Peninsula Campaign, I think that the work they've done on the Seven Days is amazing. It all could easily have gone the way of Seven Pines and Savage Station but instead we have significant parts of Gaines' Mill, Glendale, and Malvern Hill saved. Glendale in particular is snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. And let's keep in mind the landowners who in many cases resisted greed in favor of preservation.

Look at the Glendale map the ABT did. In 1987 there was not one acre preserved. They now have almost all of the major portions of the battlefield preserved. I cannot wait until they get the trails opened up with markers.
