Last weekend was the CWT muster event at Murfreesboro and Franklin and things have been kind of crazy here ever since. Trying to catch up at work and at home. But when I got home, there was a padded envelope in the mail and inside, I found a very special gift from a CWT member. A dug religious medal, carefully packaged and mailed from Virginia. I didn't recognize the return address, but when I opened it, there was a note that said in part: "This religious medal was found in an Alabama camp from 1st Manassas. Figured it was time to get you back to your Alabama roots!"

The note was signed by @Package4 and boy, did he hit the nail on the head! In my research lately, I have been about as far from my Alabama roots as one can get -- yet still remain in the South. :D It is time for me to get back to my "Alabama roots" and the medal is going to be my inspiration! Thank you so much @Package4 for such an unexpected and special gift! I love it and will treasure it always. And your thoughtful note was spot on. Thanks again!

EDIT TO ADD: Can anyone tell what kind of religious medal it is? It looks like it might be the Virgin Mary? Or one of the Saints - with a halo around the head?

That is so very cool! What an excellent gift—and a thoughtful one!
