John Adams Dix (24 July 1798 – 21 April 1879)
Dix was appointed Secretary of the Treasury Jan 1861 to fill the unexpired term of Howell Cobb. Cobb had resigned in December 1860 to go back home to Georgia and campaign for secession.

Edward H R Revere
(1827-1862) grandson of Paul Revere; killed at Sharpsburg.

James A. Dix on January 15, 1861 he was appointed US Secretary of the Treasury until March 6, 1861.
