This is a photograph of the "Surviving members of Company "H" 4th Alabama Infantry, Law's Brigade, Hood's Division. It was taken in 1895 in Lauderdale County Ala. The gentlemen 2nd to the right is identified by a family member as Sgt. Levi C Fowler who is shown present in every engagement the Regiment went through from 1st Manassas to the surrender at Appomattox, coming through the war unscathed. Anyone have an information on this photograph? I found this through the US Militaria Forum.

I believe this photo was taken in front of the old Lauderdale county courthouse. These gentleman may be part of the UCV camp 298 E A Oneal as I think the man behind the flag right behind the stars is Col Oneal.
