AKA Mott's Battery. Originally it was Co. D of the 82nd NY, it was then detached and became Battery B NY Volunteer Artillery until December 7, 1861. It was discharged in June, 1865 having lost 12 enlisted men KIA, 2 enlisted men from wounds received, and four enlisted men from other causes for a total of 18.
