Located at the intersection of Murray Boulevard and East Battery in Charleston, SC.

 

[57th Indiana Infantry]

Dedicated "To the Confederate Defenders of Charleston - Fort Sumter 1861-1865." Erected by the Charleston Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy in 1932, the bronze statue is 12 feet tall and rests on a granite base 13 feet tall. The sculptor was Hermon Atkins MacNeil.
