Identify that monument

It is the Confederate Defenders of Charleston monument.

It is located in Charleston, South Carolina. Located in Battery Park at the intersection of E. Bay Street and Murray Blvd, Charleston, SC. The statutes left hand points towards the sea to the enemy, shield bearing the South Carolina state seal.

Fort Sumter monument, Battery Park, Charleston SC.

Edit - I will give credit for this answer.

Although most other players seem to be in agreement that the monument can be identified as "Confederate Defenders of Charleston," the link to the website ending in "marker = 53879," which was cited by a number of players, shows that the full inscription on the front of the monument says "Confederate Defenders of Charleston - Fort Sumter 1861-1865."

Rather than mark just about everybody wrong because they didn't give the complete inscription as their answer, I will accept either "Confederate Defenders of Charleston" or "Fort Sumter" as the identification of the monument.
