Edit - A number of players answered the first bonus question with the name of John Carter Montgomery, while a number of others answered it with the name of George Patton. Neither answer is correct. I could not find any source confirming that either one of them ever served as Commandant of Cadets at West Point. Montgomery did win a medal at the 1912 Olympics, but although Patton participated in the same Olympics, he did not win a medal.

I accepted all answers to the second bonus question that named Richard Nixon as President of the United States, though, just to nit-pick, he was actually Vice-President, rather than President, at the time of his visit in July 1953.
