24th Annual Victorian Ball

It is with great delight and anticipation that we announce that the 24th Annual Grand Victorian Ball will be held at Hagley Museum

I had never heard of this event before and was wondering if anyone in the forum had gone to or could offer advice about this event.

Lived in Delaware for the last thirteen years, and I have never heard of this! I pass by Hagley every day on the way to school.

It looks like just a dance, not a historical reenactment or anything. Seems they're expecting everyone who signs up to show up in period wear.

It was held at one of the properties of the Dupont family, Samuel Francis Du Pont, a Union admiral of the Civil War, commanded the Port Royal expedition in 1862
