There have been some great posts/photos taken of the 2023 Valley muster and I thought I would share some of mine. I will try not to duplicate any of the great shots already taken, but I also thought I would post photos taken during my pre and post muster travels. Hope you enjoy. The First four are all from Fredericksburg NMP.

We finished the first day at Spotslyvania CH and the Wilderness. Day 2, we visited Harpers Ferry and Antietam NMP. Here are a couple of Spotsylvania CH and Harper's Ferry.

Technically - The Bloody Angle in the Muleshoe Salient - but whichever way you dice it it does spell dead.
All these pics are awesome and thanks so much for sharing.

Very nice photos! Thanks for posting!

I have to say not seeing the photos each day as we did during your muster, I can only imagine how difficult for the attendees to return to daily life!
I am old fashioned (or maybe just old) and use what youngsters would call a "legacy" camera. Thus, I cannot post real-time and have to wait till I get home and can download. On the upside, it is re-living vs live viewing, if you know what I mean.

Here's a series of photos of the Bloody Angie I took with my iPhone last year… if you put them side by side - it crosses the Muleshoe Salient.

To continue with Day 2 at Harpers Ferry and Antietam. What is a visit to Antietam without a pic of Dunker Church? You can never have too many pics of Dunker church (even if it is a replica). Monday afternoon really started to cloud over and I was beginning to worry about the weather for Phil's tour on tuesday- but it was perfect weather the next day.

And to finish up the trip day 2 (Monday) photos, we have Sunken road, Burnside's bridge and the Sherrick farm. After visiting Burnside's bridge. we headed to Gettysburg for the night to be ready for tuesday's tour with Phil Muskett.

Stu,
Beautiful pics. Do you know who the monument/memorial (other side of the fence of Sunken Road/Bloody Lane is dedicated to? Alas I have never been there.
Thanks,
