I served in the 49th Pennsylvania as 2nd lieutenant when I was appointed as assistant adjutant general to my older brother's staff during the Peninsular Campaign. Whilst my brother rose from brigade to corps command, for his deeds became well-known and was almost elected President, I rose to the rank of colonel only. I named one of my sons after my famous brother. Who am I?
