1864 poem with a Memorial Day theme

Thanks lsbusch....some of these old forgotten poems are lost for all time, save for folks like you.
I collect antique Bibles and inside of one that was printed in 1855 I found a clipping of "Mother's of Men". After finding and memorizing it, i recall it each Mother's Day. The reason the poem was so close to the owner of the Bible will never be known.
