Just picked up a original 1863 Sharps Carbine. Serial number C 16926. If anyone has Coates and MacAulays book could check for the serial number for me to see if it shows up. Thanks

Looking for any info on an 1863 Sharps New Model Carbine. Serial is C8192 (108192) and the cartouche on the stock is marked "TWR". Any info would be greatly appreciated.
