What is this? 1861 springfield ID help

Hello, recently picked this rifle up, on the lockplate is dated 1862 and is in rough shape all usual marks are there but can't find any on the barrel, the breech is rusted and pitted, only thing I can find is by the plug. Can these be verified or traced?? Thanks

I own an original Springfield 1864 (also known as 1863 Type 2). If was privately owned same family stored in west coast in an attic many decades ago only history I know it was from Virginia. Anyway careful cleaning mine has stamping also in that spot. Was told its the inspectors stamp marks approval
