1861 Remington Holster

I recently acquired what I think is an 1861 Remington Old Army .44 manufactured in August 1862. SN 2743. The holster in the attached picture came with it. I was told it has "always been with the weapon" and they thought it was original with it. I do not see any markings on the holster. No "US" anywhere. The numbers all match and is fully functional with most of the bluing on the barrel. Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks,

Okie66

Looks right as rain but more photos of just the holster will confirm. The US stamping was not used during the CW as it was on later US Army holsters.
