This reminds me of a time I had a letter printed in TIME magazine. They had done an article commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition, which of course mentioned Sacajawea. I pointed out that Sacajawea's legacy should be familiar to modern women - in a party of thirty men, she was the only one who could ask for directions.
