Where else besides CivilWarTalk could you possibly find such an obscure and interesting fact? According to CWT member @upton j. , a quart jar full of Civil War minie balls weighs approximately how many pounds?

<Note: Desired answer to be located by using the CWT search box in the top right corner of your screen.>

"About twelve pounds", according to a November 9, 2019 post in the thread Minie Ball Display for the Fireplace Mantle.

(I would have guessed about 8 pounds before I found the answer...)

" Nice display a quart jar of minie balls weighs about 12 pounds I have several jars full myself."
