Brice Holland (1842-1922). Holland intended to join the U. S. Army but was impressed by the rebels into Company B, 2nd Tennessee Cavalry. He was captured at Mill Springs, Kentucky on May 30, 1863. He was released from prison on January 23, 1864: six days after his releease he enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He first served in USS Brandywine, later USS Commodore Morris and USS Powhatan, then finally USS Minnesota.

Holland, Brice 1844-1922, Union Sailor and Confederate Soldier, (Marion, IL: Marion Illinois History Preservation, 2013). https://www.mihp.org/2013/09/holland-brice-1844-1922/>

Edit - The indicated source says that Holland intended to join the U. S. Army at one time, but his intention was thwarted due to his impressment into the Confederate Army. As far as I can see, the source does not say that he ever joined the Union Army, either prior to his impressment or after his release from prison and prior to his joining the Union Navy.
