Irene Triplett (1930-2020), daughter of Mose (aka Moses) Triplett (1846-1938), who served as a Private in both sides of the conflict. Ms. Triplett, who was mentally disabled, had been receiving a pension of $876 a year. She died May 31, 2020, from complications following surgery for injuries from a fall.
