Civil War or WW1?

Good morning all! Was wondering if anyone can tell me if this bridle/bit is from the CW or WW1 era? There are two US rosettes on both sides. I found this in an antique/thrift store in NJ. The tag indicated that it was WW1, but the rosettes appear that they could be CW. I'm no expert that's for sure. All thoughts welcomed! Regardless of era, I love it!!:us34stars:

Nice piece. These were used well into the WW1 era. Can you post a photo of how they are attached to the leather. That will be the tell tell sign of period. Thanks.

That is what I'm looking for. That is the way they were for Civil War thru Indian War period and the US font is correct to those periods but you need to keep in mind that these were used during the Indian War so its really hard to pin them down to just the CW but they are not WW1.
