Anyone like bayonets?

Only have 4 here but they are each pretty good.
Ok ok, yes there is Confederate Bowie knife BUT since I like it a lot I thought I would show it again.
There is a nice attic brown Austrian 4 sided bayonet with the locking ring.
A super 7 river US marked bayonet with the locking ring and a stamp under the US is a J.
There is a beautiful sabre bayonet nicely marked Ames in Chicopee AND dated 1861.
Next is a 2 revit bayonet scabbard and bayonet marked US. This scabbard is unique in that there is a handmade cut that was used to run a string to hold something...cup perhaps?
Anyway...nice pieces right?

Total length in the scabbard is 27.5...blade is 21 3/4..total out of scabbard is 26.5

Really? I honestly didn't know. I bought as a package deal with the 2 rivet bayonet and didn't know. I bet it's worth $3 million and I can now retire...yippee. Ohhh, maybe not that much!

Imagine that bayonet on the end of a Sharps and holding the firing position for any length of time.......

It must have weighed a ton and in the battle, for an extended time, you had to have sore arms.
