Other side of the field. :)

Actually, the confederates took these rocks, but it didn't do them much good.

That's Q-U-E-E-N Bee...repeat after me: "Queen Bee"

Now, regarding that hill First Sergeant Peter T: My record for mountain elevation thus far is slightly under 15,000 ft -- noooo problem:smile:
My humblest apologies Your Majestic One!

In September I shall place my cloak over the puddle so you don't get your feet wet ....

Now about that hill ... I'll take it! You sit back and luxuriate and I'll report back when it's taken ... might be awhile.

Most of the action was on the other side. The area from which the photo was taken is known as the Slaughter Pen.

Rumpole the Barrister!!

Okay, okay: I am screwing up this very informative thread...Beesides.....must gear up for yet another Slaughter Pen (also known as the SharkTank) in exactly an hour...going Penguin hunting...yummy.

I don't care. This one or another one makes no difference to me. I may start the ball rolling right here. The first KIA of Heth's infantry was?

No takers? I'll say this, its not what you would think. The answer will surprise you!

:banghead:

I have missed all this!! I can't believe I have missed all this!!
And now the reply is already out! Dang!

Great idea to submit Gettysburg questions to Trivia, ami is looking for questions.

And congratulations to the Penguins for winning their 4th Stanley cup...

Well we are swiftly closing out June and heading into July. The months are clicking by. Way back in January we were months away (seemed like years), but we have inched our way forward and the light at the end of the tunnel, once a mere candle flame is now a search light..................Friends we are close !!! Soon the invasion of the "September to Remember" will begin :)...............................War Horse were do we stand with the amount of members who will be there ? Is the itinerary final and completed ?

I look forward to meeting you all !! I will need someone to be the go between for me and Cash, as I will not be able to speak to him..............He has me on ignore here, does that carry on to Gettysburg ?..................lol

Any volunteers for the job ? :)

Well, I bet we all or at least a lot of us will happily assist in peace negotiations! And the spirit of Gettysburg will do the rest!

And you are right, where have all the weeks gone?

We will take you to the Peace Light, and force an "unconditional surrender to hostilities", at least for the weekend!
