We had a nice thread on Scottish dress, how about a Polish uniform? Love his pipe.
Wow did they really wear that shako to war in 1861?
That is a nice pipe. I've thought of adding a clay pipe or corn cob to my impression but something like that with the beeswax mustache looks to "natty"!
Perhaps a German style uniform is more your cup of tea. Note the "German" style frock coat.

The Poles have always had a tradition of unique uniforms.
I'm convinced their 16th and 17th century "winged armor" greatly influenced our 1860's era Plains Indians.

Artistic license and all, one cannot shoot a gun like that. Period.

No doubt !The Polish Hussars were some bad dudes! Ottoman Turks & a few others found that out the hard way
I am not sure any Union or Confederate companies wore Greek uniforms. I am interested in seeing a union or Confederate Greek uniform. I would even enjoy a Civil War period uniform from Greece. Is this a reenactor in a 1860s Greek military uniform. I will have to research this a bit as Greek uniforms are a bit out of my expertise.

Ok, I'm sure these fellas can hold their own but these are the least intimidating uniforms I've ever seen...
