I read some of the old posts on how to get there. I was thinking of going in a few weeks. Just wanted to clarify for directions so I don't get lost and head on private land. I pulled this image from Google Maps. Is the red X the area of the farm? And it IS on NPS Land correct? TIA

Please contact the VC well in advance of your visit. My understanding is that due to recent changes, the NPS holdings east of Rock Creek are completely landlocked. They can put you in touch with property owner and honorary LBG Dean Shultz, who is very generous with his time, and can show you around the area in question. The man is a legend, and you will remember your interactions with him the rest of your life.

I got there a round about way if you are willing to skip across Rock Creek over the rocks. After you cross there is a trail nearby that will lead you to the farm site. Below is my illustrated journey.

First, here is near where I crossed the creek. You can see the Indiana monument.

This is where I actually crossed:

Lastly, are my pictures of the ruins from the farm site:

Thanks I was with Dean a few weeks ago but didn't make it to the farm. I'll call the VC and see if people can get to the farm on Park Service land.
