    Thank you for posting this article, it is by one of our own : @Scott Mingus ! It is so easy for the uninformed, such as myself, to view some of these outlying statues as attractive hunks of metal, and nothing else. To read the history, and understand the representation brings forth life to these otherwise historical hunks of eye candy.
