Yankee flag

Thanks, I did have a good chuckle when I heard him. He usually wears a penguin hat, however, today he even chose to wear a kepi. I had to ask my other Civil War buddy, (my 11 yr old grandson) how many stars were on the "Yankke flag" (lol).

When I was stationed in Massachusetts in the Air Force, I took a ride with some friends I met at church. We drove up to New Hampshire to hike Mount Manadnock(sp?). As we drove through a nice New England town and passed the "green", I saw a statue and said "Oh! Look at that Confederate Monument!"

I got a good laugh.
That is what I always called them.
