I am seeking information about Lt. William L. Bradford on CSS Tennessee. Captured 8-5-1864 Mobil, Ala. After the war he left northern hospital with a shattered arm. In 1866 he went to South America. I cant find what city and state he was from. Also would like to find information about his duties on the Tennessee and what other if any ships he served on. He graduated from Annapolis in 1856. Resigned US navy April 1861 and joined CS navy in same month. I have read that he may have been from Ala. I have always thought he was from Virginia. Any help would be most appreciated .

Wow! What are the chances of looking for information and having a descendant respond? I hope cof is still with us. The connection is too good to miss. By the way, Javier, welcome.

I see no evidence that you are not very familiar. Do you have a specific question?

By each poster's rank is the number of posts required for that rank. You have only to post a lot. Sometimes it's good if you have something to say.
