was a decisive and important moment in our history, why do we give short thrift to its creators?
John B Henderson was a co author and submitted the joint resolution for a constitutional amendment abolishing slavery, yet remains virtually unknown. The amendment was authored eventually by Henderson, James Ashly OH, and James Wilson IA, also virtually unknown.
I've even been to civil rights museums who dont mention them........
