I did a living history for a group or 10 year olds as a confederate private today and all they could ask was about why the confederacy was like the nazis, why was the confederacy so bad, where are they getting this garbage? When I was that age, the confederacy was at least in a gray area if not the good guys, and I'm only 17, how could it change so much in 7 years?
