That looks like the Sickle's witness tree to me. So I am guessing you are near the Trostle Farm.

Yes it does resemble the Sickle's tree but also.... that tree growing out of the rocks in the field between East Confederate Ave. and East Cemetery Hill.. Don't know if it has a name....but I will go with the field of East Cemetery Hill tree?????

The answer is. . . You'll find this fence along the Henry Spangler farm lane, looking toward the Emmitsburg Pike, about halfway from the house to the end of the lane. The tree in the distance is near the Rogers farm site.
