Visited a cannon today, Can you use this photo to tell me where I went?

I'm sorry, but I am missing the nuance that I think you want me to divine from your post.

Without me telling them what city this cannon is in, I am wondering if anyone can use the cannon and cannon markings to know where this cannon is.

Next clue. I live in Michigan and never left the State.

The trip was not to see the cannon, which I have seen before, but to see the limber. The limber had been in the news this spring here in Michigan due to it receiving a new simulated wood metal box and iron wheels.

Another view of the restored limber showing the simulated wood aluminum box and wheels. I think many can now guess what county courthouse I am at.

The reason for my day trip was to see what I think of cities restoring relics with simulated wood. The limber looks good, but like the simulated wood, used at some battlefields, you can tell it is not real wood. I am still not sure what I think of cities using simulated wood on this kind of thing.

Just looking at on my phone. it looks good. But in person I wunder how I would like the simulated wood? I understand the move due to cost etc..... interesting debate

Loomis' battery is also known as the Coldwater battery so I'm guessing Coldwater .

Yes I was at Four Corners Park in downtown Coldwater. My plan was to pop into the local history room of the local library, look at the statue, see the restored cannon and limber at Four Corners Park, and then go to Cannon Park and see the cannon there, and go to the cemetery to see where the local war horse hero is buried and has a nice monument . Sadly, I had dropped my wife off at the antique mall and she called with a "lunch emergency" before I was able to make it to Cannon Park or the horse's grave.

To easy the minds of our more gentle members, no husbands were injured during the 'lunch emergency'.

I was in Coldwater Michigan. I get to goof off while my wife shops at the antique shops in the Coldwater area.
