Warner Picture; Tennessee Engine Diagram

My wife and I visited the Columbus CW Naval Museum recently. Of interest to some of you (@rebelatsea) are a few poor photos. They Warner picture and the Tennessee diagram are in the "Warner Papers," but no location for such collection is given. If you want to follow up, the contact person is:

Beautiful museum, the last real vacation I took and that was back in the late 80's!

While I was there Bob Holcombe and I talked about the origin of TENNESSEE II's engines. For many years it was said they came from the tug UNCLE BEN, which IIRC was famous for being the first tug in the area. But when the dimensions of the UNCLE BEN's engines wee compared to those of TENNESSEE II (from a report made for Farragut) the dimensions did NOT match. At that time Bob was leaning towards two likely possibilities, was this mystery ever solved?

Yes it has been, her machinery came form the Alonzo Child. There is a discussion on this somewhere in the naval forum.
