Maintenance in Port Royal SC before being towed by the steamer Fahkee, together with Monadnock and other ships steamed to Havana, Cuba, in late May, in search of CSS Stonewall and arrived there after the ship had been turned over to the Spanish authorities by her captain. The two monitors were the first American ironclads to arrive at a foreign port.

They look really well together as a group, congrats.
I've never thought about it before but being that the CSS Stonewall was turned over to the Spanish, was it ever reclaimed by the U.S after the war?

CSS Stonewall was turned over to the United States, May 1865. The Tokugawa shogunate of Japan bought her from the United States in 1867 and renamed her Kōtetsu, but delivery was held up by the Americans until after the Imperial faction had established control over most of the country. She was finally delivered in March 1869 to the new government
