Hi all,
Quick question, Did late war union cavalry (dismounted) wear regular infantry sack coats at all or did all union cavalry wear the short cavalry sack coat with the gold trim on it? Because i have seen some reenactors that portray cavalry wearing a regular union sack coat with either regular sky blue pants with yellow trim and some without. I also have seen pictures where they wear the full short cavalry sack coat with yellow trim and either sky blue pants with or without trim on them. Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
