It was said int eh Confederate Veterans that the soldiers names was Andrew Jackson from Mississippi and other articles said it was a Union soldier.​

Reminds me off accounts on the retreat from Atlanta going over the same ground once fought an... The Dead quickly buried in shallow graves and do to rains had arms and legs sticking out the ground... No marker to be found.
