I purchased a small collection of bullets, see first photo. I think I have them all appropriately identified except one, see additional photos. The one in question was sold to me as a "Confederate Carbine" bullet. I am having a hard time determining exactly what weapon is was for and its origin. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks so much!

It looks like a 50 cal Macon Arsenal breech loading carbine bullet but the rifle grooves are not CW pattern as there are to many.
