Unit Size In Various Battles

I've seen plenty of books and sites that list total army sizes for different battles. Is there any source where I can look up unit strength of specific corps, divisions, or brigades on both sides for a specific battle or campaign?

In theory, a regiment was a certain number of men so you could do math based the number of regiments in each brigade. But regiments were rarely at full strength and not all of them started with the theoretical 10 companies totaling 1000 men.

(I don't have a specific unit or battle in mind at this time; I'm just looking for a source whenever this question comes up.)

Look at the order of Battle and it will give you the commanders and the units under them..
You really must do a little more digging than just multiplying x regiments times y men. Depending on the year, regiments could have fewer or waay fewer men than the textbook regiment.. Especially true of Confederate Regiments

I attempted that for the Confederate Army of Mississippi at the Battle of Shiloh. But only the Confederate army. This org table lists approx size of each unit. For the artillery it lists the types & number of guns.

Then I went really nutz and added details about commanders and officers to include: info before the battle, such as Year of class at West Point, and info during the battle, such as casualty; and info after the battle, such as promotions and political offices. The table also lists commanders who replaced the ones casualties of the battle.
