Union Regimental Information (Web Links)

Dyer's Compendium, digitized: http://www.civilwararchive.com/regim.htm
Dyer's Compendium has histories of all Union regiments. To obtain the most detailed information, one should use both the compendium and the state published regimental histories.
Connecticut regiments (a book, not a website): https://cslib.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p128501coll2/id/176128
Massachusetts regiments: http://www.massachusettscivilwar.com/histories.asp
New Hampshire regiments (book): https://archive.org/stream/cu31924096263128#page/n7/mode/2up
Pennsylvania regiments: https://www.pa-roots.com/pacw/infantry/index.html

Hope this works. Larry Stevens has a webpage, "Ohio in the Civil War," with links to histories and reference lists for artillery, infantry, cavalry, and sharpshooter regiments. It's been fantastic for finding more information on the 7th Ohio Cavalry. He references the National Tribune, Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States' works, JUSCA (Whatever that is. Please tell me if you know what the acronym means!), books, Confederate Veteran, and other works. http://www.ohiocivilwar.com
