There's some folks on Etsy making it and some of the sutlers carry it. It's not hard to make yourself if you want to give it a try. Look up Civil War Digital Digest on YouTube, they have a couple videos on how to make it.

Thanks....aware of most of them and have made it before.....probably close to the end of the war as I feel old enough! LOL Actually looking for a couple of dozen pieces that are "stamped."

Fall Creek sells a hardtack mold, like a cookie cutter. One of the best gadgets I ever bought. Make very uniform, even pieces.
