Can anyone identify who this uniform frock coat belonged to?

Regulation uniform frock for a Brigadier General rank, with black velvet collar and cuffs.... This was a common standard uniform style... No means to determine whom it may have been used by based on just the pattern or design style itself.... Many wore these exactly the same....

I've asked about this uniform frock coat before, but I know now where it is on display, at the Historic Tredegar Museum in Richmond, Virginia.

I would encourage you to look where you got the images from. Often those sites will have your answer. Just posting random uniform images without context makes it almost impossible.

The answer is out there, just keep looking.

All seriousness aside I would like to have this guy's waist. I saw General Joe Wheeler's field frock at his home/museum and it made me think how often we completely forget the size of these men compared to our modern standards.
