I bought this document with another CSA mail/ rail road document currently on the RailRoad forum from England of all places. Time for some research as I will sell this at some point as I try to collect Wisconsin CW items.

After Turner Ashby's death, his cavalry force was divided into two regiments, the 7th and 12th Regiments of VA Cavalry. Captain Jas. E. Marshall mentioned later commanded Company E, 12th Virginia Cavalry. Anyways, his name is among the signatures in the "graffitti house" at Brandy Station, VA, employed as a hospital after the cavalry battle there in June, 1863. They also had his saddle bags on display there a while back.
