Here are the questions for Week 2 of Game # 62

2. A certain "Radical Republican" congressman had a personal reason for seeking vengeance on the South after the war, for his manufactory was burned by Confederate troops just recently before the Battle of Gettysburg. Name the congressman and the name of his plant which was burned.
3. What Confederate fort in Virginia was battled over twice (both Confederate victories), almost exactly two years apart, in 1862 and 1864?
4. What Union general, a Vermont native, who was subsequently mortally wounded in an 1862 battle, had once been kicked in the ribs by a soldier under his command?

A Bavarian immigrant, he established a jewelry and horology business in Vicksburg before the war. One of his regular customers would become a high Confederate government official. He and his business got into a sort of a pickle during the Siege of Vicksburg. One of his works was atop a prominent local government building which was a favorite target for Union gunners. After the war he got himself into a real pickle, first in St. Louis, and finally in Denver, Colorado. Name him.
