Here are the questions for Week 3 of Game # 56


1. This actor, who played a prominent role in a well-known film with a Civil War theme, was the first ever to win the all of the three major acting awards (an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Tony). Name him. (Thanks to Hoosier for this question.)


2. This star of a 1950's cult classic science fiction/horror movie was the great-grandson of man who was a top official in the Buchanan administration as well as a Confederate general. Name the actor. (Thanks to ?; lost that info when my last computer crashed.)


3. He played a clergyman in a CW movie starring James Stewart and a Confederate deserter in a CW movie starring John Wayne. Name him.


4. Walter Pidgeon, John Ireland, Brian Donlevy, Leo Gordon, Robert Davi, and Ray "Crash" Corrigan are among the actors who have played the character of this Confederate officer (sometime under a variation of his name). Name the officer.


5. The grandfather of one of the actors in the questions above was a brevet brigadier general who, among other things, led a Pennsylvania regiment at Gettysburg. Name the brevet general.
