He planted the colours at the top of the wall and was severely wounded
4. After losing several crews in practice runs, the submarine Hunley got a bad rep
5. At 36, John Breckinridge served as VP under James Buchanan. He ran for a spot on the presidential ticket in 1860 but was defeated by Douglas. Elected to the senate, he resigned when his state of Kentucky didn't secede. He served the confederacy as a general and secretary of war. He fled to Canada after the war.

27. Grant was employed as a clerk in his family's leather store in Galena, IL.

28. Carney was the first black to receive the Medal of Honor, awarded to him for his actions in the 54th Massachusetts' attack on Fort Wagner on July 18, 1863.

29. The H. L. Hunley, having sunk with all hands aboard on more than one practice mission, was sometimes referred to as the "peripatetic coffin."

30. At the time of his election in 1856, Buchanan's vice president and later Confederate general John C. Breckinridge was only 35 years old. He is still the youngest man ever elected to the office.

I believe this is the first time that everybody who played in a given week got all the answers correct. (I'm going to have to start coming up with some harder questions. )
