Trying to identify any of the weapons on this triple armed Confederate image. Can any of you identify the revolver? I think he was a member of Company C of the 8th Mississippi Infantry (they were nicknamed the "True Confederates"). They are the only unit in "Local Designations of Confederate Troops" with a "TC" nickname. The image was reportedly found in Georgia though so can't be sure unless there is an image floating around of the unit in a similar uniform.

Without being able to see the barrel its tough but I believe that the shape of the hammer is the key. I'm leaning either Leach & Rigdon. Or

The only thing I would add (and you may already know this) is that weapons, especially extra weapons in period photos such as this were often studio props i.e. real weapons but owned by the studio/ photographer and not the man holding them. I guess the reason was to give the man a suitably 'martial air' to him.

Another reason for the studio props was soldiers wern't allowed to take there weapons into town and I'm referring to the times the armies would have camps outside of major towns and cities that would have had a photographers.

No expert here but looks like a Griswold from the color. What might be the key is the indexing notch on the cylinder. Just checked my Griswold and it's lined up with the percussion nipple. The image looks like the notch may actually be between the percussion nipples.
