Anyone know what type of gun this went to and how much it may be worth?

Welcome! And happy Thanksgiving!

Hard to tell, but looks like maybe an Enfield rifle trigger guard. The title says "bullets". Please do tell about the kind of bullets and the place.

Value? On the eye of the beholder...

I found this in Sevierville,TN along side some .54 caliber Gardner bullets. It was in a field that I got permission to metal detect in. I also found an 1858 Flying Eagle Cent. I found another trigger guard that I will post on here as well.

Here is one of the bullets I found near the trigger guards.

Interesting finds. It seems very odd to me that you would find two trigger guards. Don't misunderstand me. I'm not suggesting that you didn't. I don't mean it to sound that way. I just think it's remarkable that, of all the weapon parts you might have found, two trigger guards turned up.

...Oh...and welcome from Missouri!
