Triangle base, 1 ring?

Found this today at the place I've been hunting. This is the only bullet I have found like this, EVER! Can anyone identify it? Is it RARE?

That's a French .69 caliber Minie bullet. Apparently those are rather rare. Here's a link to some photos (see photos at the very left):
