Travel Banner completed

[9th US Regulars]

I finally finished my travel banner with the souvenir patches I collected from the battlefields I've visited over the past four years. I decided to only include places within the National Parks Service, and illustrate the most major campaigns of the war. Then I added the commemorative medals from my reenactments and some lapel pins to the bottom.
I might make another banner like this with patches from state park and privately maintained battlefields.

Nifty idea! I bought a bunch of enameled souvenir pins and drilled them into my walking stick. Will post a photo someday soon.

Wish I had thought to do that a long time ago. Instead, I got trail patches from trails that I hiked (not nearly all the trails however), and had the patches sewn onto a khaki colored hiking shirt.
